we have completed . . .

Peugeot 306 Dturbo engine transplant for early Citroen Xantia Dturbo lump with Bosch Fuel System and KKK K14 turbo.  This car was brought to us by the founder of Turbo Diesel Owners Club UK (www.TDOCUK.com) with the brief that he would be building it for track use… On delivery of the vehicle, this was obvious as the car was stripped back and running Gti-6 rear beam, with Gti-6 brakes and lowered and stiffened suspension. The customer told us that he wanted a moderate power output of around 160/170bhp and 250lb/ft, but that it had to deliver this with complete reliability

We set to work on the car by taking the original DHY engine, equipped with Lucas fuel system and small KKK K03 turbo, out and cleaning up the engine bay.
We then sourced and early, low mileage Citroen Xantia engine, and fitted it with one of our specially modified fuel pumps – allowing large amounts of fuel flow, the use of biodiesel and a 6000rpm rev limit!

We fabricated a custom inlet manifold which was port matched to the head, and set about a totally custom intercooler install, with the brief it had to be low lag and high efficiency!
Though the customer will be running the standard KKK K14 turbo while we run the engine in, a Hybrid Garrett unit with much larger compressor will be added into the mix in a few thousand miles.
We look forward to seeing this car out of the track, smoking up some of its petrol powered cousins!
